Place in the bottom of your cooking pan and place what you are cooking and it comes out with no mess hardly to clean. Just put the baking mat in the dish washer or in soap and water and it comes out very clean. You can cook with temperatures up to 450 degrees. A really nice extra to your kitchen utensils.
