Vent Filters

These vent filters are a soft PVC grid device with a washable polypropylene mesh media filter. The filters comes as a 8 x 18 sheet. The sheet can be cut to fit your room vents or your cold air return. This is a very nice idea to help to keep as much dust out as possible. Easy and simple to use and fix.  A good price to help keep the dust out. With an 8 x 18 sheet can possibly get up to 4 vents done. Product Description

The Magnetic Vent Filter “Filter” is a soft PVC grid device with a washable polypropylene mesh media filter.  The Filter is placed over the forced air HVAC room vents and cold air returns. When placed over the vents, the Filter will prevent most dirt, dust and airborne particles that may enter the ducts, from entering in to the room. The Filter can also be placed over the cold air returns where it will reduce the amount of dirt and dust that are pulled into the HVAC system; as well as bathroom exhaust fan vents.

The overall dimensions of the Filter measure are 4" by 18" or 8” by 18” by 1/16” +/- . The Filter can be very easily cut with a scissors to fit most sizes of vents and cold air returns, up to 8” by 18.” 

The Filter will be secured to the vent with either magnet strips that are glued to the back side of the Filter, or Velcro strips. These strips will be secured around the complete perimeter after the vent is cut to size. The magnet strips are shown in the photograph. The magnets or Velcro hold the Filter on to the outside of the vents or cold air returns.

The Filter is washable and reusable. Furthermore, the Filter fits all sizes of vents and will last for years with only periodic cleaning to assure you are breathing the freshest air possible from your HVAC system. The Filter will not only reduce the amount of dirt and dust that enter the rooms but it will also reduce the migration of unwanted bugs and insects including spiders and centipedes that can travel from room to room through the HVAC duct system. It will also keep pet hair and dander from spreading through the house.

The Filter can also be used on bathroom exhaust fans. These fans draw in airborne dust and dirt which clog the vent and render the exhaust fan ineffective. The Filter makes it easy to keep the exhaust fan vent clean and eliminates the need to remove the vent cover to clean the fan. The Filter can be easily removed to wash, and then place back on the vent.
