I would say that this is a little on the cheaper made side. When I first got it I wasn't impressed with the quality of the product. I put 3 D batteries in it and had no problem closing it. The light came on and I was impressed by how bright the light was. This light would be great for camping or just to keep in the house for when the power goes out. It has a low medium and high button so you can choose which setting you would like. I would recommend this light. Sample received for an honest and unbiased review.
